Fall has been moving along here, despite my best intentions to keep up, I seem to be watching it whoosh past as I look up from my homework. Ugh, this class has been keeping me on my toes and super busy.
One big change to our family came while we stopped at this little farm in western mass to get some pumpkins.
and came home with this little pumpkin too...
She popped out from the barn. The farmer said we could keep her. I really wanted to say no. But they boys love her, Buddy loves her. It all worked out. We really did name her Pumpkin.
My garden has been mostly tidied up. I saved some seeds and took pictures to being plans for next year.
I saved some seeds last year too. I was amazed that they actually grew. I know they are supposed to do that, but it was like a little miracle watching mother nature at work.
I did manage to squeeze in one estate sale. I am always so surprised that no one around here goes for the sewing stuff.
or the vintage linens...
tea towels from 1958, and see the tablecloth on the bottom with the yellow flowers? Wilendur.
and one super cute apron...
Progress has been made in the kitchen, not much of it by my hand, but still...
see, only half green!
So I was going to do some sewing, I've got about 50 little projects in my head, but my sewing machine isn't set up. I think I might take some time this weekend and setup a little sewing area for myself. That is if my homework doesn't bury me. The class ends in January folks, hang in there!
Typepad is not letting me delete this photo, so another shot of the apron for you!
